The much spoken about 'Girlfriend Allowance' seminar is still on, just at a different venue.
This is according to organiser and author Mandisa O Mahlobo who assured women that the seminar is still on despite the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) calling it a scam.
The seminar is about equipping women with skills on how to get their men to give them allowance.
"There is something about a giving man that makes us wet! So dear men, Girlfriend Allowance is actually more for your benefit than us! Let's meet and talk Divas!," said Mahlobo.
According to Mahlobo, the venue at the SABC radiopark was acquired but the national broadcaster got cold feet because of the "avalanche of public outcry".
"They are currently announcing on every radio station that our event is a scam. It is not! It is legit. We just may have to change the venue.
"Yesterday I spoke telephonically to the spokesperson for the SABC and we will be meeting with him next week to clarify things," she said.
The event, scheduled to take place on Friday, has been trending on social media.
Mahlobo says the allowance is a gift.
