Two illegal miners are believed to have died at Central Gold Mine in Riverlea‚ South of Johannesburg.
Police spokesman Kay Makhubele said the first miner was found on Thursday afternoon while a report of another miner being located was made on Friday.
“We are getting reports now that a second body has been found‚ we are heading to the mine with authorities to verify if the body is that of a miner‚” Makhubele said.
It is believed that three miners were trapped underground after the first was found on Thursday afternoon. – TMG Digital
